Core shooter applications and advantages
The core shooter uses coated sand to make the core, which is suitable for both hot core boxes and cold core boxes. The core shooting machine is characterized by the use of two guide posts to open and close the mold vertically, and install two different molds at the same time. The fixed mold can be installed on both sides of the middle fixed frame, and the mold can be opened and closed (equivalent to a double mold base). The core shooting machine is widely used in the foundry industry. The core size manufactured by the core shooting machine is accurate and the surface is smooth. The working principle of the core shooter is to inject the core sand mixture with liquid or solid thermosetting resin as the binder into the heated core box. The sand core is preheated in the core box and quickly hardens to a certain thickness (about 5~10 mm) Take it out to form a finished product with a smooth surface and a high-quality sand core with precise dimensions.
The core shooter has been widely used in recent years, because the use of the core shooter for modeling can save high styling workers' wages. Because the multi-box stacking pouring can also reduce the waste of pouring riser, the coated sand after pouring has good collapsibility, which is conducive to sand removal. The core shooter has high production efficiency and precise sand mold size, which can appropriately reduce the processing volume; it is easy to operate and has a high casting yield. More foundries prefer to use core shooters for modeling.
